Shipping & Delivery
Delivery times are estimated and may vary depending on the destination. Large items such as high-security safes require specific delivery conditions, including access to a loading dock or freight services. The buyer is responsible for ensuring appropriate delivery access. Freight charges are subject to change based on weight and distance.
Warranty
Our products are covered both under a limited 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects and lifetime warranty against burglary attacks. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, unauthorized modifications, or failure to adhere to recommended maintenance practices. Please refer to the product’s warranty documentation for full details.
Installation
Proper installation by a certified professional is required for all Legion safes to maintain warranty coverage. Improper installation may void the warranty. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure the product is securely anchored to meet certification standards.
Returns & Exchanges
All returns must be requested within 10 days of delivery. Custom-made or modified products (including but not limited to custom safes and vault doors) are non-returnable and non-refundable. A restocking fee of 25% may apply to standard item returns.
Liability
Legion Safes is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from improper use, installation, or maintenance of the product. The buyer assumes full responsibility for securing and maintaining their products in compliance with safety regulations and insurance requirements.
Insurance
Please note that while our safes are UL-certified and provide protection for high-value items, specific insurance coverage should be confirmed with your provider. Insurance limits may vary, and Legion Safes does not guarantee insurance coverage.
At Legion Safes, we stand by the quality and craftsmanship of our products. We offer the following warranty coverage:
Two-Year Factory Warranty
Legion Safes provides a two-year warranty on parts and labor for defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty is valid only when the product is used properly and installed according to manufacturer specifications. The warranty does not cover damage from abuse, accidents, burglary attempts, misuse, tampering, or any actions that compromise the safe's normal performance.
Legion Safes provides a warranty for all parts and labor, excluding all digital components, on all safes purchased for two years from purchase against any manufacturer defects. All digital components will be warranted for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. Only digital components that are factory installed or installed by an Legion Safes approved technician prior to shipment will be covered under the 90-day warranty. Resetting of any combination on a Group II combination dial lock must be performed by a qualified licensed locksmith otherwise the warranty will become void on the Group II combination dial. This warranty is valid for the original customer of purchase and is non-transferable.
Lifetime Burglary Warranty
We offer a lifetime warranty against burglary-related damages to the body of the safe, excluding electronic and lock components. Any repairs or adjustments to the electronic and lock components will fall outside this warranty unless otherwise specified.
Warranty Procedures
In order to maintain warranty coverage, Legion Safes must be notified prior to any repairs or adjustments being made during the warranty period. Failure to obtain prior authorization will result in the voiding of the warranty, and any associated bills, adjustments, or credits will not be honored.
Freight and Transit Liability
Legion Safes assumes no responsibility for damage to products while in transit. It is the responsibility of the consignee to inspect the shipment upon delivery and file any claims for freight damage directly with the carrier.

At Legion Safes, we strive to ensure that our customers are fully satisfied with their purchase. However, we understand that situations may arise where a return or exchange is necessary. Please review the following policies regarding returns and exchanges:
Eligibility for Returns

Products are eligible for return within 10 days from the date of delivery.

The item must be in its original condition, unused, and in its original packaging.

Customized or special-order safes, including those with unique finishes, dimensions, or other alterations, are non-refundable and non-returnable.

Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, and the cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
Restocking Fees

A 25% restocking fee will be applied to all returned safes that are not defective or damaged.

If the product is damaged or shows signs of use, Legion Safes reserves the right to refuse the return or charge a higher restocking fee based on the condition of the item.
Process for Returns

To initiate a return, please contact us to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

The RMA number must be clearly marked on the return package.

Returns sent without an RMA number will not be accepted.
Exchanges

Exchanges are permitted within 10 days of delivery if the product is defective or damaged upon receipt.

Legion Safes will cover the cost of return shipping for defective or damaged products and ship a replacement at no additional cost.

For non-defective exchanges (e.g., wrong size or model), the customer will be responsible for all shipping fees and any price differences.
Non-Returnable Items

Safes that have been tampered with, modified, or improperly installed will not be eligible for returns or exchanges.

Products that have been damaged due to improper use or accidents are not eligible for returns unless covered under our warranty policy.
Inspection Upon Delivery

We recommend that all customers thoroughly inspect their safe upon delivery. Any damages or discrepancies must be reported to Legion Safes within 48 hours of delivery.

If you notice freight damage, please refuse the shipment and notify us immediately. We will arrange for a replacement and file a claim with the carrier on your behalf.
Refunds

Once the returned item is received and inspected, Legion Safes will process the refund to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.

Refunds for returned items will exclude any applicable restocking fees and original shipping costs.

Delivering large safes requires meticulous care, and we provide this information to guarantee your order arrives in optimal condition.
We manage full delivery and installation. To provide an accurate service, upon purchase one of our customer care representatives will take all the necessary details for delivery.
You must be present or have someone inspecting and signing the product receipt.
Shipped orders under 50 lbs – Parcel service
All packages under 50 pounds are delivered to your home or business front door via the selected parcel carrier such as Canada Post, UPS, FedEx or Canpar during normal business hours.
Safes over 2000 lbs.
Commercial truck liftgates will only handle safes up to 2000 pounds. Safes over 2000 pounds will require a forklift or loading dock on site to receive the safe. If you do not have either of these items, we will recommend a trusted company to help with receipt.
Damaged product upon receipt
If you notice any damage on your shipment, please document it on the delivery receipt, sign it, and take photos for evidence. This is essential for us to file a claim for compensation with the freight company.
Standard Curbside Delivery

Our standard delivery service includes transportation of the safe to the curbside or closest accessible area outside your building or residence. It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange for the safe to be moved indoors or to the final installation location.

Please note that the driver is not responsible for unpacking or placing the safe inside the building.
White-Glove Delivery and Installation (Available in Select Areas)

For an additional fee, Legion Safes offers full-service delivery and installation. This includes transportation, unpacking, moving the safe to its final location, and securing the safe as required (e.g., anchoring to the floor or wall).

White-glove service is recommended for large, heavy safes or when delivery to a second-floor or basement is required.
Installation Requirements
Site Preparation

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the installation site is properly prepared and accessible. This includes confirming the strength of floors, walls, or other surfaces where the safe will be placed, especially for larger safes.

If the safe is being installed on an upper level, the structure must be able to support the weight of the safe. We recommend consulting a structural engineer if necessary.
Anchoring

For safes under 700 lbs that require anchoring as per UL or other certification standards, proper anchoring is a critical part of the installation process.

Failure to properly anchor the safe may void certifications, warranties, and insurance compliance.
Access and Clearances
-
Please ensure there are no obstacles such as narrow doorways, low ceilings, or stairs that may impede delivery or installation. If special equipment (e.g., stair climbers or cranes) is required to move the safe, this must be arranged in advance, and additional fees may apply.
Delivery Timeframes
Delivery timelines vary based on the size and complexity of the order, as well as the destination. Estimated delivery dates will be provided at the time of purchase, but please note that these are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, shipping delays).
Once the product is shipped, you will receive tracking information and updates regarding the expected delivery date.
Freight Damage and Claims

We take all necessary precautions to ensure that your safe is securely packaged and handled during transit. However, we strongly advise all customers to inspect the product upon delivery.

If there is visible damage to the packaging or product, please refuse the delivery and notify Legion Safes immediately. We will file a claim with the carrier and arrange for a replacement or repair as necessary.

Any damages not reported within 48 hours of delivery will not be eligible for a claim.
Delivery to Inaccessible Areas

If the delivery location is deemed inaccessible (e.g., remote areas, high-rise buildings without an elevator, or locations that require special permits), Legion Safes will notify the customer in advance to discuss alternative delivery arrangements. Any additional costs associated with such arrangements will be the responsibility of the customer.
Delivery Fees

Delivery fees vary depending on the size and weight of the safe, destination, and the level of service chosen. All fees will be clearly communicated during the checkout process, and any additional fees for special delivery services (e.g., White-Glove Delivery) will be quoted upon request.
Installation by Third Parties:

If you choose to have your safe installed by a third-party contractor, Legion Safes is not liable for any damages, improper installations, or voided warranties caused by the third party. We strongly recommend using certified professionals to handle the installation process to maintain the product’s warranty and certification.
Rescheduling or Canceling Delivery:

If you need to reschedule your delivery, please notify Legion Safes at least 48 hours in advance to avoid any additional fees.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery date may incur a rescheduling fee.
Liability for Installation and Delivery:

While our team of certified installers takes every precaution to avoid damage during the delivery and installation process, Legion Safes is not liable for damage to the customer’s property (e.g., floors, walls, or fixtures) unless caused by gross negligence on the part of the delivery or installation team.
